Fundamentals of Box Office Wagering

I've skimmed through a lot of the box office threads over the last few months, only wagering on POC2. I wanted to know if any of you box office players would be willing to briefly go over the fundamental concepts and/or information sites for trying to predict box office sales. Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert by any means, but, as a movie fan, am totally fascinated by the whole opening weekend scene.

As far as I can tell, you got to go by your gut. I stopped going by the numbers and indicators and IMMEDIATELY started doing better.

But would love to hear what other people have to say.

I have to go with some sort of number since the box office totals listed mean nothing to be. I have nothing by which to gauge what 33 million is worth to me. There is no relative scale. So before I can develop that sense, numbers it is for me.
